SAs this year comes to a close, so does the Class of 2026’s time at NDB, so the senior class council wanted to thank their peers for everything they have experienced together during the past four years.
“From freshman year to senior year, we have supported one another through every challenge, celebration, and memory. The Sharks class is filled with leaders, athletes, artists and classmates who push each other to succeed. What makes our class special is not just everyone’s accomplishments, but also the kindness and confidence everyone carries with them,” said senior class President Keira Kennon.
Naturally, senior year comes with a lot of lasts, and with that comes the recognition that time is slowly running out.
“This year especially, making memories is one of the most important things to do. It’s our last year at [NDB], and our last time all together as class. At each event, our class has shown up wanting to be there to make a difference,” shared Historian Sofia Castricone.
The bonds created through these memories were not built overnight, but were formed through years of growing, learning and creating lasting connections throughout high school. That sense of connection within the senior class was cultivated by school spirit where the seniors constantly came together with unmatched energy, passion and pride, creating an atmosphere that reflected the strength and unity of the community they built over the past four years.
“It was not just about winning, but about coming together and making the most of our final year. I am so proud of the energy and dedication our class showed all year long,” explained Spirit Director Frankie Thompson.
From the energy at events to the work behind the scenes, the Sharks class’s final year was shaped by student leadership that brought each experience to life for the entire school community.

“Helping plan and organize events over the years has taught me valuable skills and helped create meaningful experiences for our class, [and] watching everyone come together this year through events like prom, Aquacades and Senior Splash has made our final year unforgettable,” shared Secretary Natalie Hurley.
These experiences reflect the broader impact of the Sharks class, showing how camaraderie built during their time together has shaped a memorable final year at NDB filled with school spirit and community.
“As the Sharks class prepares to graduate at the end of this month, I want to recognize all of the memories, achievements and friendships that have made our time here so special. Over the years, we brought energy, leadership and so much spirit to [NDB], and I know we will leave such a positive impact on both students and the staff,” reflected Athletics Director Reagan Raff.
The seniors played an important role in carrying on the traditions that make NDB such a special community. Throughout the years, the class brought enthusiasm, school spirit and unforgettable energy to countless events and activities on campus.
“Sharks, each of you have helped contribute to the long-standing traditions that make [NDB] the special place it is today. Our class stands out not because of our accomplishments, but because of how everyone participates and encourages one another. As we leave [NDB] in our past, I hope you carry the friendships, memories and high spirit of these past four years with you,” explained Activities Director Amelia Breckenridge.
Although the Sharks are moving on to the next chapter of their lives, the lessons and friendships they made at NDB will last a lifetime. As the biggest class on campus for three years, they made a huge impact on NDB and will always have a special place in the hearts of students and staffulty.
