On Nov. 16, 2025, NDB hosted its annual Junior Ring Ceremony. The junior Vipers and their families gathered in the Moore Pavilion, prepared to take this next step in their NDB journey. This day celebrates the importance of the juniors, as it is a celebratory rite of passage that marks the transition to senior year. This symbolizes academic and personal growth, school spirit and the bond of the class.

The rings serve as a memorable item to capture high school experiences, achievements, memories and school spirit. They honor the milestone of becoming a senior in high school. They symbolize hard work, a shared tiger unity and memories from a significant time in life.

Junior Alexis Anderson attended the junior ring ceremony. “Personally, as a Notre Dame student, this event means a lot to me. It resembles moving up to upperclassmen and stepping into more of a leadership role at the school and becoming a role model for younger students,” Anderson said.

This event symbolizes more than just a ring; it recognizes the transformation of growing older together and completing a milestone at NDB.

“It’s really important to me to celebrate this event with my friends, because we’ve all been in this together since the beginning of freshman year, and it’s extraordinary to be able to move forward into all of us becoming upperclassmen together,” Anderson added.

This is one of the most cherished traditions at NDB as it represents the transition from underclassmen to upperclassmen, a moment when juniors are recognized for their growth and preparation to become school leaders. As juniors pick out rings from stores or use one from the past, they place it on their ring finger to represent sisterhood and the NDB values.
