World Creativity Day is celebrated on April 21st this year. This day celebrates the importance of creativity and the impact innovation can have on a person.
“I think it’s good to let the world know what you’re good at in the arts, whether it’s dance or anything else,” said NDB senior Autumn DeetzRodriguez.
World Creativity Day can represent letting your imagination and innovation shine. This day can be represented and celebrated through the use of creativity and the expression of oneself through different forms of art, such as painting or dance.
“I could celebrate World Creativity Day by jumping into my old hobbies and maybe painting something or making a nice craft,” said NDB junior Ashley Turek.
It is beyond important to celebrate a day for creativity due to the fact that creativity is a great supporter of mental health and imagination. Creative outlets can bring so many people joy and serve as stress-free activities throughout their busy day.
“I think it’s just an expression of oneself… It’s a really good way for people to see who you are in a different light and to share your creative side,” said DeetzRodriguez.
World Creativity Day is so important for the benefits that come from using your creativity. This day can symbolize expression and innovation among people all over the world, and it is very important that it is recognized.
