During this festive time of year, NDB held its annual Jingle and Mingle holiday boutique. Hosted on Thursday, December 4, the night was filled with alumni, parents and local business owners selling perfect gifts for the community.
The boutique filled the dining room and surrounding areas with festive decorations, creating a cheerful and lively atmosphere. Guests enjoyed food and explored the dining hall, supporting vendors by purchasing their products.
“[I am enjoying] all the different types of vendors,” said attendee Michelle Morris.
This year, Cori McGlynn, who was co-chair, alongside Anita Kennon, planned the holiday boutique. They have spent the last few months gathering vendors and finding decorations to make this event special.
Waffles and Honey, located in San Francisco, was one of the local businesses in attendance.
Karina Harris, the owner, handmakes beautiful gemstone jewelry.
“This is my fourth year being here. I actually used to nanny for one of the families whose girls went here,” said Harris.
J.J., another vendor, owns J. Lucian Studio. He makes handmade leather bags and cutting boards with the mission to “create beautiful things that you’ll cherish,” as written on their website.
The festive environment is a tribute to the NDB community’s desire to participate in holiday activities and supportive culture. This event left a lasting feeling of spirit.
