San Jose Shamrock Run
The annual San Jose Shamrock Run is the perfect opportunity for avid runners and St. Patrick’s Day enthusiasts to enjoy a themed 5k or 10k run. Participants race through downtown San Jose in spirited costumes and festive accessories; spectators can enjoy traditional Irish performances including a bagpiper performance, dance show and live music with a band from Ireland. A majority of the proceeds from the event benefit the San Jose – Dublin Sister City Pat McMahon Scholarship Program.

SF Saint Patrick’s Day Parade:

The San Francisco Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is one of the city’s largest celebrations, bringing thousands of people together to honor Irish culture and heritage. This event is held every March, with the parade making their way through downtown San Francisco. Many NDB students attend the parade every year, enjoying the festive atmosphere, wearing green and celebrating together while taking in the parade performances

Hiller Aviation St. Patrick’s Day Events:
The Hiller Aviation Museum hosts special St. Patrick’s Day events each year that are perfect for families looking for something fun to do during the holiday. The event features festive decorations, hands-on activities for kids and the chance to explore the museum’s many aircraft exhibits. Visitors can walk through historic planes, try interactive flight simulators and learn about aviation history while enjoying the holiday atmosphere.
