As winter break is right around the corner, NDB students are bringing the holiday spirit to life through colorful, aesthetic wish list presentations. These can be completed with cozy aesthetics, Canva slides and plenty of personality to customize the presentations in any form. A Holiday Wishlist Presentation is a digital presentation from either Google Slides or Canva to showcase what’s on their wish list, which can range from gift ideas to experiences.
This traditional presentation has become a fun, lighthearted way to share holiday excitement and start up the holiday festivities. Ranging from clothing items to vacations and experiences, it has transformed to being a fun activity to partake in during the holiday season. Some common themes of these presentations are using Canva to design red-pink color palettes, holiday fonts, sparkles, adding cozy photos, or even labeling slides as “For Mom”, or “For my friends.”
Some particle tips for these presentations are using tools such as Canva or Google Slides for themed templates, animations, easy sharing and using photos for specific links to items. Choosing an aesthetic can be hard, as many of them are cute, but choosing one that is personal is perfect for a holiday wishlist. Using holiday fonts, icons or short captions explaining why you want each item can help the viewers as well.
These presentations are not just about showing items; they also offer self-expression, creativity and sharing joy with others. Students can personalize the slides with humor, colors or even inside jokes.
Whether it’s a collage of sweaters, a slide full of Spotify links, or a way to dream about winter break coming sooner, NDB students’ holiday wish lists celebrate the creativity and spirit that make this season special.
