Disneyland, located in Anaheim, California, is an amusement park where visitors can enjoy themed rides and meet characters from Disney movies. As this park is getting increasingly popular due to the upcoming holidays, more Disney adults are attending. Disney adults are grown-ups who visit Disneyland regularly and are devoted fans of the Walt Disney Company. They see the park as a way to reconnect with their childhood and revisit memories from the past.
Many Disney adults celebrate events there, such as weddings, making them part of their personal milestones. For some of these people, it has become their way of life, with dedicated Disney-themed decor at homes. Many Disney adults have faced criticism from others who feel like the park is meant for children. However, Disney caters to fans of all ages and shows a sense of inclusivity and magic that appeals to all. The parks offer something for everyone, and many adults find comfort and a sense of belonging among fellow fans in the Disney community. One way Disneyland fosters a sense of inclusivity is by appealing to collectors, offering exclusive merchandise, pins, and even unique experiences.
At Disneyland, there are many rides that are specifically made for children and not for adults. Many also believe that Disneyland should be more for children and that these adults are causing crowded lines.
“I feel like a lot of the rides are targeted more for children, and I feel like there shared be, more kids than adults there,” said sophomore Ava Moody. “There’s limited spaces, and when they’re more Disney adults going to the park, there are fewer spots available for children, and like you’re only a child once, so I feel like you’re only a child once, so I feel like its kind of important to get that experience.”
Some people also believe that Disney adults contribute to overcrowding by visiting during the park’s busiest times, leading to a more hectic experience for other guests. This often forces others to plan trips on weekdays or early in the morning to avoid long lines, which can be difficult for some to schedule.
Whether people embrace Disney adults or not, they are becoming more popular at parks and are bound to have an increasingly prominent presence at Disneyland as time goes on.
