Their relationships unfold to reveal plot twists that leave audiences shocked. 

Millie Calloway, a young woman on parole, trades living in her car to become a live-in housemaid for Nina and Andrew Winchester and their daughter Cecelia. 

Within Millie’s first week working for the couple, the true nature of Nina shows as she is seen fighting, deceiving, and showing unprovoked anger towards Millie. The story takes a turn when Andrew sides with Millie, leaving his wife Nina alone. 

After this happens, we see a switch in characters, and a deep unraveling truth behind the relationship between Millie and Andrew, and the story behind Nina and Andrew’s relationship that once was. 

The Housemaid developed strong character arcs, and intense relationships. A scene that helped build the story up was the first fight between Nina and Millie, when Nina lashed out and accused Millie of throwing away her note cards. Nina is seen throwing dishes and screaming at Millie, while Millie promises she didn’t touch them. 

The soundtrack choices was very strong, as it would specifically draw in teenage viewers, as it featured songs from Lana Del Ray, Taylor Swift, Jessie Murph and Renée Rapp The movie surprised watchers with unexpected twists and turns. The Housemaid is a must watched movie that will leave every watcher wondering what comes next, and with lasting thoughts.
