Robert Rojas, Adviser
Mr. Robert Rojas is a member of NDB’s English Department and, for the 2025-26 school year, teaches English II Honors, AP English Literature, and Journalism I-III. He also advises the award-winning student newspaper “The Catalyst” and broadcast news show “Tiger TV” as well as coordinates the annual InterSession “SoCal College Trip.”
He is also a CollegeBoard AP Reader for the AP English Language exam, having participated at the various reading sites and at-home since 2009 as well as having read for all three of the exam’s free response questions.
He is a product of the Catholic school system from kindergarten to graduate school, graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English with an emphasis in Writing (‘00) and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education with a teaching credential in English (‘04).
In August 2025, he begins his twelfth year at NDB and, overall, his twenty-third year in education, having spent eleven years in public schools and twelve in a private school.
He is a fan of pop culture, including Disney/Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
