On Friday, January 8th, NDB families were notified by NDB’s Board of Directors that Maryann Osmond resigned from her prior position as Head of School. She served in this role for eight years. The board hopes to continue transparency with the NDB families.

For the remainder of the year, stepping up to fill Osmond’s absence is Dr. Linda Kern. Kern has been NDB’s Associate Head of School managing Curriculum and Instruction since Fall 2019. She is committed to women’s education and played a crucial role in helping develop NDB’s distance learning protocol amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

NDB thanks Osmond for her commitment to NDB’s community over her career at the school and hopes she continues on well.
