Community celebrates Mass of the Holy Spirit
The NDB community gathered in the Moore Pavillion on the morning of September 18 for the Mass of the Holy Spirit.
Father Tom V. Martin presided over the school’s first liturgy of the school year. The mass provided time for prayer, reflection, and song, especially through the readings and homily.
Senior Maddie St. Geme shared her thoughts on the mass. She said, “I thought it was a good first big mass. It was a good time of reflection and quiet time to adjust.”
Music teacher Ashley Willits continues to plan the school’s liturgies and prayer services. She shared, “During meditation time, we have implemented something a little bit different to encourage student participation. Our goal is to make liturgies a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all students, no matter where they stand in their faith. It’s an opportunity to unite our Notre Dame family and pray for one another’s health, well-being and community.”
