Sports: So, how about those Sharks and Warriors?

Sharks

According to ESPN, the San Jose Sharks have moved from a ranking of 20th place to 7th. The offense is coming together under pressure by scoring Overtime goals. Unfortunately, goalie, Martin Jones has not been doing as good as he has in the past. Do not count him out just yet, like in years past, he has continued to get stronger as the season is progressing. As the Sharks get further into the season the team is beginning to play more united and winning the close games. Evander Kane has only gotten stronger since last season, he has scored nine goals this season in thirty-two games played (he has a 25% chance of scoring each game). As the season continues to get better, it can be expected they continue to move up in rankings an qualify for the postseason.

Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are on a hot streak, both with their individual players and as a team. Last year, the Warriors won the National Basketball Athletics (NBA), and there are high expectations for more success this year. According to ESPN, the Warriors are ranked number one in the NBA because of their stellar offense and tough defense, and they have won all three of their last games. The Warriors currently average over 124 points a game, which is number one in the NBA. In early November, Klay Thompson set a new record for most three-pointers made in a single game. Nothing says being a team player more than his teammate, Steph Curry, encouraging him to beat a record he himself set just last year. If they continue to make their shots, play defense, and work as a team, fans can expect great things through the rest of the season.
