According to an article by the Economic Times, the average American eats about 3.4 pounds of candy on Halloween, so come see what NDB’s favorite candies are this year!
- Sour Patch Kids: NDB’s most popular candy is Sour Patch Kids, a soft and chewy candy coated with both regular and sour sugar.
- Kit Kat: Produced by Nestlé, this chocolate-covered wafer is the runner-up of NDB’s favorite.
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups: The peanut butter candy covered in milk chocolate was created by The Hershey Company in 1928.
- Candy Corn: This chewy pyramid-shaped candy, meant to resemble a corn kernel, is NDB’s fourth favorite.
- Peanut M&M’s: These delicious multi-colored peanuts encased in semisweet chocolate were created in 1941 and produced by Mars, Incorporated. They ranked within NDB’s top five candies this year.
