What makes the season of fall?
Some of the best parts of fall are the seasonal items and foods.
Pumpkin spice, in particular, is very popular during the fall season. It’s a blend made out of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Pumpkin spice is used in several desserts, drinks, and even as an iconic fall scent.
One of the most popular items being bought this fall are candles. Target is constantly having to restock their fall themed candles. Not surprisingly, the Target fan favorite right now is the Pumpkin Spice candle. It is currently out of stock, but the Cinnamon Pumpkin Muffin candle is a close second favorite and is in stock. Many buyers say they are burning through their candles faster since now they are home more often and enjoy having a candle burning while they work.
One of many fall favorites is the Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte. It’s a latte blended with pumpkin spice and it can be served hot or cold. Starbucks estimates that they sell about 20 million of their best selling Pumpkin Lattes every year. When fall comes around, most people are more excited about the lattes than anything else.
This month is dedicated to an array of all things pumpkin. Not only is pumpkin spice popular, but just pumpkin itself is used throughout the fall. Many families enjoy making various baked goods together including pumpkin bread and pumpkin muffins.
Right now a lot of stores are selling their seasonal items. Candy Corn is being sold throughout all grocery stores and remains a fall classic. The seasonal items also include Trader Joes and Dunkin Donuts where you can get delicious breakfasts of pumpkin bagels or a maple sugar donut.
So, don’t forget to savor the essence of this fall season while being stuck at home. Grab a pumpkin spice latte or candle and watch the leaves change colors as we embark on the rest of our journey through the pandemic.
