Spirit week day number two has come to an end. Along with the theme of ‘Dress as your type’, there was also a spooky baking contest. Participants baked their best halloween and fall themed items and turned them into leadership this morning. This contest included three categories for the participants to follow; spookiest, tastiest and most creative.
ASB came together at lunch to taste test and judge each item. They had a great time testing out our tigers’ spooky treats. ASB’s athletics director Maise Street shared her thoughts after taste testing.
“I really liked the pumpkin muffins because they were super fluffy and had a great flavor!”
The entries consisted of; freshman Anne Bosch with pumpkin muffins, freshman Samara Sherman with her spooky chocolate frosted cupcakes, and senior Ella Oldenorp’s frankenstein cookie fingers.
This contest has been a great contribution to spirit week, allowing students to share their talents and artistic abilities. As spirit week continues NDB students will participate in several more contests, dress up days and the annual Dingbat rally. Coming up tomorrow will be the candy guessing game!
