The Sharks are officially seniors. Wow, does time fly! It feels like the Sharks just began their high school journey in 2022.
“It almost feels surreal. Time went by way too fast, and it feels like yesterday that we were coming into the school as freshmen,” said one senior.
The Seniors began their last year of high school with the famous parking spot painting event. On August 14, 2025, the Sharks filed into the senior parking lot, carrying with them brushes, paint and lots of excitement! From beaches to flowers, each painted spot is unique to each Shark, and this was, and will be, a special seniority moment for the seniors!
“Awesome! I love the parking spot painting idea!” said one senior.
Not only are the Sharks in their last year of high school, but they also get special privileges towards the end of the 2026 year. For example, when P6 begins, the Sharks can leave early on B days, not having to stay for collaboration, depending on their grades. Also in P6, the Seniors get to have free dress every day, depending on their grades. What a treat!
“I am so excited about being able to have senior privileges, as I’ve been waiting for them since freshman year. I think it’s essential to commemorate how far we’ve come and also just because we look up to seniors as freshmen and are excited to step into that senior ‘superiority’ role,” said one senior.
With the countless memories and smiles throughout the seniors’ journey, the Sharks will hopefully capture each moment of their last year, making each new memory count before they are all off to college!
