On Valentine’s Day, many couples go out for a romantic dinner while groups of friends gather to spend time together. One may contemplate where to go since there are a variety of places to go around the Bay Area, but three places I would suggest are Stella, The Cheesecake Factory and Sakura Teppanyaki and Sushi.

I have been to Stella and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and I think it is a perfect place for a couple to go on Valentine’s Day. Located in Burlingame, Stella is an Italian restaurant where there are a variety of foods to choose from. The interior is also modern and dark, which adds to the romantic vibe of the whole restaurant. For desserts, I recommend Matteo’s Tiramisu Tradizionale because of its fresh creamy flavor.

The Cheesecake Factory is a well-known restaurant throughout the United States, popular for its diverse menu with many options to choose from and the family friendly environment. They have a varsity of foods from all different cultures such as Italian, Mexican and Chinese. The lively restaurant is great for those looking to go somewhere casual for a Valentine’s dinner. Some of my favorite items are fried calamari, Margherita Flatbread Pizza and Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken. Also, one cant miss the famous cheesecake! The rich, sweet flavor is a great dessert and is definitely a customer favorite.

A restaurant with more action would definitely be Sakura Teppanyaki and Sushi in San Carlos. The tables can fit up about seven to eight people to enjoy the show, which is perfect for a large group of friends. The chefs do a great job making it fun for guests to watch and it is interactive. If one does not enjoy the food made, there is a menu to order from. I would recommend the chicken fried rice Hibachi steak. Although this may not be a typical Valentine’s Day dinner, it is definitely worth visiting for the entertainment.
Whether it is a romantic quiet dinner date or a fun, active night out, these three restaurants offer a variety. Each of these restaurants have their own unique things to offer, whether it’s a variety of different foods or the atmosphere in general. I would personally enjoy spending my Valentine’s Day at any of these places.
