Country concerts are an amazing way to socialize, meet new people, listen to great music, and plan cute outfits. These events are a great way to see people from other schools and listen to comfortable music for a very reasonable price. Many audiences love country music as it is great for managing emotions and has many different instrumental themes. Country concerts are very liked by these types of audiences because it has to do with the performer’s clothing, accent, and cultural references in those songs. It is enjoyed by various audiences varying from little kids, to adults. The concerts, however, could have a different side as some people think it is too crowded and might not like the music.
Many country concerts have been performed over the past few months at the Shoreline Amphitheater, including Dan and Shay, Tyler Childers, Niall Horan, Jon Pardi, and many more. All of these started at 7:30 p.m. and lasted until around 11:30 p.m. Personally, country concerts are one of the most popular types of concerts because of the crowd, the music, the outfits, and the preparation.
Junior Sophia Nielsen loves Country music and had a fun time at the Luke Comb’s performance. She always has a great time attending these types of concerts and explains why she likes them so much.
Nielson says, “Yes, [it is worth the hype] because it is a chance to socialize with friends while enjoying the music that you like.”
One of the main reasons why so many people have been attending country concerts is because of the crowd, which is always filled with various excited teenagers from different schools. The crowd is filled with teenagers who enjoy the atmosphere of a country concert. They enjoy the experience of listening to their favorite artists for cheap prices, good food, and cute country outfits.
At the shoreline Amphitheater where most of these concerts take place, there is a general admission ticket, which usually costs around to be placed on the lawn. The lawn is filled with different food and drink options as well as a great view of the stage where the performer is located. The music is loud, and there are also many TVs around the lawn showing the performances, which is very helpful.
Sophomore Gracie Enfield also enjoys these types of concerts and had a fantastic time at the Zach Bryan one. Enfield shared, “Yes, [they are worth it] because you get to see a lot of people you know and you get to wear cute outfits.”
Many people enjoy these concerts because country music is a genre that many people in this generation know and are familiar with. These concerts are always priced right, even to see very famous artists on a Friday/Saturday night. The music is easy to sing along to and flows very well. It is also proven that live concerts are a very easy way to reduce stress by lowering cortisol levels and increasing levels of endorphins, which are hormones that intensify positive emotions.
Overall, country concerts are worth it because of their low prices, music, crowd, and unforgettable experiences.
