As summer ends and fall begins, Starbucks has finally released its seasonal fall menu. A yearly occurrence, Starbucks releases a special menu from August 22 through late November that includes many fall-themed drinks and pastries.
This year, Starbucks has kept some of its crowd-favorite drinks, including the pumpkin spiced latte, which can be ordered hot or iced, and the iced pumpkin cream chai. Sophomore Sami Kirkpatrick expressed her enjoyment of these newly introduced drinks.
“It depends on my mood,” said Kirkpatrick. “Sometimes I like the pumpkin spice latte, or I like the iced chai with pumpkin cream cold foam.”
Along with these classic fall drinks, Starbucks has included some new additions to its seasonal lineup. These new menu items include an iced apple crisp latte, a raccoon cake pop, a pumpkin cream cheese muffin, and more. However, not everyone is a fan of these brand-new items. Senior Lily Henry had mixed opinions on the seasonal menu.
“I ordered the pumpkin cream cheese muffin and it was my favorite item… I feel like [the drinks] taste kind of artificial and too sweet,” said Henry.
On October 1, Starbucks will launch three new menu items that have been unavailable so far. These items are the iced pecan crunch latte oat milk, the salted pecan cream cold foam, and the brand-new mummy cookie.
