Every day, Epicurean prepares delicious meals for almost 400 students and staff, with options each week consisting of different varieties of food. Epicurean prepares main meals, like pasta, grilled cheese, chicken, and much more.
Also, additional options exist if students do not want what is served. There are salad options along with a salad bar, a sandwich bar, and a sandwich option for students to pick from if they want something other than the central meal provided. Overall, Epicurean does a fantastic job preparing and serving food to many students and the staff. However, out of the lunches served during the week, what is the best Epicurean lunch?
Every week, ASB sends out the weekly announcements, along with the menu from Epicurean for the week, and while all lunches are delicious, I believe that the best lunch from Epicurean is the pasta. This is because when we are served pasta, which is typical on Mondays, the pasta is served and the students can pick their choice of sauce, which is usually pesto or marinara, to give a variety. Also, when pasta is served, Epicurean either has breadsticks or garlic bread to go along with the meal, both a perfect addition to pasta and a delicious side.
While this is my opinion, other students might have a different view on what they think the best epicurean lunch is.
“My favorite lunch is probably Chinese food…” said junior Page Krensavage. “The chow mein, the noodles, the potstickers…”
We will all have different opinions on what lunch we think is the best, as 400 students cannot all have the same opinion on their favorite lunches, and the variety of food options touching all aspects of the food world makes it hard to pick just one. However, I believe pasta is the best lunch served by Epicurean because of its different options and sides, as it is a reliable and delicious meal.
