On the evening of April 25, the seniors gathered together in the Father Downey Garden to celebrate the annual Senior Sunset. The class dressed head-to-toe in green, representing their class color and mascot, the green Dragons.
Following their Senior Day of Reflection, which was earlier in the day, the sunset began at 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, the seniors were greeted with the smell of a fresh taco bar and the music that filled the Arcade.
Allan Gargaritano, NDB Academic Counselor, dj-ed the music all night, creating his own mixes and spinoffs on the most popular songs.
The seniors got in line for a dinner of Mexican cuisine, provided by the school. The girls had their choice of meat, beans, rice, tortillas and an array of toppings for their meal, in addition to the chips and salsa were included at the end of the table.
Cathleen Adamis, Marketing and Communications Manager, was on site, taking professional photos of the seniors and their groups of friends. Adamis claims that capturing the night on camera is crucial while making the memories last.
After dinner, the seniors got ice cream for dessert, provided by the Mister Softee ice cream truck.
April 25 was a day full of senior festivities. After their hard-work and dedication, the seniors enjoyed an evening of fun, music, food and soaking up the last few memories with their sisters.
