“I think my role model in softball is the senior Malaina Alifano who plays here at NDB. She just has a lot of passion for the game and motivation to be better. She’s really good and also makes it more fun and is super inclusive of everyone playing.

Sophomore Track and Field athlete Anna Street
“One female track star that has really inspired me is Sydney McLaughlin. I watched her run the world record in the Olympics and seeing that inspired me to do better. She is really cool and so I’d say she has definitely helped develop my love for the sport.”

Junior lacrosse player Kayleigh O’Reilly
“NDB’s players Luci and Liv Caron have been big role models to me in playing lacrosse. When I was a freshman, they both convinced me to play lacrosse and I was so nervous because I had never played before. They both helped me learn how to play and now I love the sport so much.”

“Katie Ledeky has been one of the female athletes that I look up to the most in swim. She is a very strong athlete and I noticed that she has a bunch of dedication that is visible in everything that she does. I think just that dedication and how much she loves her sport is so inspiring.”
