As students grow older it can be difficult to figure out what to do on Halloween. Thinking back to middle school, trick or treating was the only thing kids wanted to do on Halloween. However, as high schoolers, deciding what to do on Halloween is much harder than it was 5 years ago.
Movies
Scary movies are a perfect form of entertainment on Halloween night. There are many new movie options coming out this season such as Disney’s “Haunted House” and “The Nun II”. But of course, older and familiar classics like “Hocus Pocus” or “Silence of The Lambs” are great options too. Planning a movie night with family or friends is a great opportunity to grab some snacks and spend the night bundled on a couch.
Giving Out candy
Growing up, we can all remember getting dressed up and going trick or treating. It can be so rewarding to make a little kid’s Halloween better by giving them candy. Looking at their creative costumes and reminiscing on when you were their age can help to start the Halloween night off right.
Seasonal Festivities
Going somewhere that has the halloween spirit can be an amazing way to spend the day. Places like Great America, local pumpkin patches or even the Winchester Mystery House are great options to visit this Halloween.
Crafts
Carving pumpkins and baking halloween treats can both be fun for all ages. Listening to classic Halloween songs like Thriller and many more can set the spirit for these activities. There are so many creative arts and crafts anyone can do for the holiday. Making decorations that can be used next year can be both efficient and fun.
