This love interest has sparked controversy for all Swift and Kelce fans.
The Eras Tour is Taylor Swift’s most expansive tour yet and it pays homage to all of her albums. Rumors about a budding relationship first started when Kelce attended one of Swift’s shows, a part of her Eras Tour. Travis Kelce explained on his podcast, New Heights, that he hosts with his brother, Travic Kelce, that he attempted to give Taylor a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. Unfortunately she could not take the bracelet because she isn’t permitted to talk to people before or after shows to save her voice. Fans went crazy over Kelce’s statement, especially when Swift then attended the Chiefs vs. Bears game on Sept. 24. The two stars were caught sharing a heartwarming moment when making eye contact across the stadium and Swift was also seen sitting up in a box suite with Travis’ mom, known by many as Mama Kelce, cheering and yelling while Kelce played hard and even scored a touchdown. Swift has since been spotted at three more games, supporting Kelce. The last game she went to, she was not only spotted with Donna Kelce, but also Brittany Mahomes who is Kelce’s quarterback, Patrick Mahomes’ wife. Some Swifties admit to watching the Chiefs games just to see Taylor and Travis share moments across the field.
On October 15, Taylor and Travis were seen holding hands while walking out of Waverly Inn after a nice dinner in New York City. Also on October 15, they were seen again holding hands and entering and exiting the SNL afterparty. After Swift watched and cheered on Kelce at the Chiefs football game against the Chargers on October 22, the duo was seen taking a picture while Taylor kissed Travis on his cheek. Fans love this for the couple.
Ever since the news first broke of the budding relationship between the two, the sales of Travis Kelce jerseys have increased dramatically. Currently, the NFL reports that the sales have skyrocketed 400%.. In 2022, Kelce’s jerseys did not crack the top ten for most sold, but now, his jersey is on track to be one of the most sold for 2023.
