The Catalyst (TC): What is your (initial) reaction to the masking guidelines?

Ally Co (AC): I’m happy because it means things are getting more normal.

TC: Why do you choose to wear a mask or not wear a mask?

AC: I chose to not wear a mask because it’s optional now, but if someone tells me to put it on then I’ll do it

TC: What do you think of people who think differently from you: Those that are or are not wearing a mask?

AC: I think it’s their decision and it doesn’t really affect me cause both are still following the school guidelines

TC: Do you think dropping masks in school was the best decision for the state to make?

AC: Yes because the covid cases have been dropping

TC: Do you think there should be an online option for community members that are not comfortable with these masking guidelines?

AC: Yes because some people don’t feel safe with these mask guidelines and students shouldn’t be forced to be uncomfortable all day

TC: Do you think cases will go up since now it is mask optional?

AC: Maybe it depends on if people are still careful or not and if the weather gets cold
