Megan Dal Porto, senior at Design Tech High School
The Catalyst (TC): What is your school doing for the fall semester: On-campus, hybrid, online, or…?
Megan Dal Porto (MD): Our school is doing online right now, but they might try to do hybrid next semester.
TC: What do you wish your school would do for the fall semester: On-campus, hybrid, online, or…?
MD: I think I would like to do hybrid, just so I can go back to school a little bit and not be at risk as much.
TC: NDB is continuing online distance learning until December. What do you think about that?
MD: I don’t think it’s the worst because it’s just one semester and it’s what we’ve all already been doing. The only problem I would say with that is online is a lot harder for some students, as it’s more difficult, but I guess it just depends on the student.
TC: How are you doing with school right now: academically, socially, or personally?
MD: Academically, not too bad. Socially, not as good just because I haven’t really seen anyone and it’s hard to communicate over zoom. Personally, I am okay, I wish it was different, but I’m doing fine with it.
