NDB community reflects on the postponement of Aquacades 2020 during the coronavirus pandemic
The Catalyst interviewed Avital Tzur, about what would have been Aquacades.
TC: Friday would have been Aquacades, but it was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. What do you have to say about that?
AT: I’m really sad because I’ve never been to an Aquacades yet… Because my sophomore year, I went to Israel, and then my junior [year], I went to Israel, and I had to miss it twice. So, this year was going to be my only year that I went – my first and last year, and now I’ve never going to experience [it]…
TC: If we come back to school before the end of the year, do you think Aquacades should be rescheduled or should it be canceled?
AT: I think Aquacades should be rescheduled so that people have the chance to say good-bye to everyone that they might have not seen.
TC: People usually look at pictures or videos of last year’s Aquacades to learn what it’s about. One year from now, what do you want people to know about Aquacades?
AT: I don’t know. I’ve never attended one.
