A great way to spend ones time while at home is by comfortably watching a favorite TV show paired with a scoop of ice cream.

The school year is almost over and students look forward to their well-deserved break. While some people travel out of state or even out of the country, others like to enjoy their break at home. There are many activities to do locally, one of them being to go to the beach.

Spending a day in Half Moon Bay is a lot of fun. There, they have amazing food, the water is so beautiful to look at and they have a little mall for those who enjoy shopping. There are also areas to go hiking to the top of the hills and get a great view of the harbor.

Another activity is a movie night outside with friends or family. Watching a movie outside when it is warm would be a great way to spend time with friends or family while enjoying a movie. Bring snacks like ice cream, sour candies and other favorites to enjoy during the eventful night.

Doing sports or other physical activities could keep you busy and in shape. Most athletes participate in clinics that either NDB offers or specific clubs. Some even go to conditioning to stay strong and to prepare for their sport’s season.

One of the best ways to cool down while still being physically active is swimming. There are so many things one can do in or around the pool. For example, playing color or seeing who can do the best poses while jumping into the pool. Even having a water balloon fight can bring a smile to everyone’s faces, until you realize the mess made has to be cleaned up.

Summer break offers a lot of activities that don’t require travel but can still be fun. Anything from making ice cream to having a movie night can be an amazing way to spend the summer.
