The Catalyst interviewed sophomore Abbey Earnshaw about her experience playing for the NDB softball team during the pandemic.

The Catalyst (TC): How has your softball season been so far?
Abbey Earnshaw (AE): It’s been short, but fun. Our team really bonded.

TC: How did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your season?
AE: It shortened it for sure, and with other sports overlapping too it has been kind of difficult to make it to every practice.

TC: What has been your favorite part of the season so far?
AE: Probably bonding with the players and just getting a really good team going, almost like making a family.

TC: How do you think the COVID pandemic has affected the team dynamic?
AE: It has definitely made it a lot harder for everyone to practice, so we could be a bit better on the field.
