This holiday season, Starbucks will be having a specialized menu with five featured coffee drinks. The flavors include Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Eggnog Latte.

NDB senior Maya Madera works at the Starbucks counter in Barnes & Noble. There, each employee is featured on the wall alongside their favorite drink this season. Her personal favorite is the Peppermint Mocha.

“The Peppermint Mocha is a great drink for the holidays because it brings a fun peppermint taste along with a cozy and warm coffee feel. It’s something to savor because it’s seasonal, so I highly recommend it,” said Madera.

The Peppermint Mocha is actually one of the most highly reviewed Starbucks beverages of all time. It has been part of the Starbucks holiday tradition for 18 years now because of its popularity. The recipe can even be found on the Starbucks website per customer request.

The second most popular item is the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. This is the drink that features a flavor combination of caramelized white chocolate, steamed milk, and espresso. What makes the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha so festive is the holiday decor on top of a snow-like hill of whipped cream.

So if you’re in the mood for a nice holiday coffee drink, remember that these limited edition drinks are only available throughout the holiday season.
