It follows the once legendary Jeronicus Jangle, a retired toy maker, through his journey alongside his granddaughter and an enchanted toy to rediscover his magic from within. A New York Christmas Wedding
“A New York Christmas Wedding” was released on November 6th. In this steamy romantic drama, a young fiance named Jennifer is visited by her guardian angel in the days leading up to her Christmas eve wedding, showing her the different paths she will have to choose from. Torn between love and her past, she must decide which partner she was meant to be with all along: either the man who has it all or her best friend that died years ago. “A New York Christmas” features a strong Black female role and lesbian representation. Midnight at the Magnolia
Since its release on November 5th “Midnight at the Magnolia” has been streamable on Netflix. Just like any old sappy Christmas love story, it does a great job of mixing good laughs with holiday spirit. The movie follows Maggie and Jack, two longtime friends and radio show co-hosts, decide to pretend to be a couple to their families and listeners in hopes of boosting their show to national rankings over the holidays. Oddly enough, they realize this might have been what was meant to be all along. This movie should definitely be a go-to this season for anyone that loves a good rom-com.

Operation Christmas Drop
“Operation Christmas Drop” is a unique holiday rom-com to say the least. This Netflix original was released on November 5th and it is based on the real-life U.S. Air Force humanitarian mission by the same name. When faced with the mission of finding reasons to defund Operation Christmas Drop, congressional aide Erica opts out of her family’s Christmas celebrations and flies to a beachside Air Force base. As she butts heads with Captain Andrew Jantz, sparks begin to fly when he then teaches her that while it is good to cherish old traditions, it is equally as important to make new ones. This film is recommended for all ages and gives an amazingly cultured taste to the Christmas feel. Taking place in the Pacific island of Guam, there are many aspects to this film that are refreshing and fun.

Christmas on ice
In this classic Lifetime movie a local skating rink is on the brink of closure, so one retired hockey player comes together with a former figure skater in order to fight the mayor from allowing this to happen. Along the way, the two realize they have even more in common than they thought and sparks fly as they fight for the recreational heart of the community.
