Students get used to online distance learning

With NDB being closed down until Friday, May 1, students are beginning to get the hang of what they are calling, online distance learning.

Many seniors are very upset about this because they will not be able to live out their last year of high school like normal seniors. With their last Aquacades postponed, their prom possibly being canceled, and their questions about graduation coming up, every senior is worrying about what is going to happen.

“I’m upset about how the second semester of our senior year is turning out, but I’m slowly adjusting to life online, and I hope this is all over so we can go back to school soon!” ASB officer and senior Kate Ragusa says.

Although she is upset about her senior year being ruined, she does have some positive comments to say about online distance learning.

“Moving to distance learning has been a pretty big transition for me,” she said. “Although I like joining Zoom chats from my bed, I find myself spending more time working on schoolwork than I would have normally.”
